Deepak Tijori is celebrating his 64th birthday today.
If an actor in the Bollywood industry reflects the definition of friendship, then it is actor and director Deepak Tijori. In his career, he has acted in many hit films, in which he played a special place in the hearts of the audience by playing the role of a true and loyal friend.
Deepak, who entered the industry with the dream of becoming a hero, got mostly supporting roles, but despite this, his screen presence was no less than a hero. However, there was a time when his films started flopping continuously. Despite this, Deepak did not give up and turned to direction, but he could not get any major success even in direction.
Today, on the occasion of the 64th birthday of Deepak vault, you know some special things related to his life…

Childhood spent in poverty, used to wear clothes
Deepak Tijori’s childhood was spent in extreme poverty. Due to financial constraints, he often had to shift from one house to another. Actually, the house that his father had found had to leave for some reason. His mother was a Parsi, so he stayed in the Parsi colony for many years, but there he did not find any big house, but a small room which was given in the bailout. Even 9 to 10 people lived together in that small room.
There have been many situations in Deepak’s life when the family did not even have money for food and he had to sleep hungry. Many times Deepak had to wear clothes from his cousin.
‘Tijori’ surname from the business of making chests
Deepak’s great -grandfather and grandfather were residents of Mehsana. His original surname was vault. Deepak told- My great-grandfather’s business was to make chests and from this we got this surname. At the same time, Deepak said on the coffee surname from Tijoriwala- I was given the vault surname in place of vault in school and college and since then it has been associated with me. However, my father did not like this ‘Tijori Surnem’ at all and he often said angrily that I wasted my nickname i.e. the vault.
Paresh Rawal Senior was in college and Aamir Khan was junior
After the Parsi colony, Deepak came to live in an area of Juhu. The world there was full of dazzling. Many films were shot nearby and big stars like Amitabh Bachchan were also there. Deepak sometimes used to go there for a walk, but he knew that he came from a poor family, where there was no money to eat sometimes. So he felt that it is very difficult for him to come into this film world.
Many of his friends used to do theater in college. He also used to ask Deepak to come to the theater. In a conversation with a Bollywood hideout, Deepak told that his seniors were Paresh Rawal and Feroz Khan Abbas. Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi were his junior. Ashutosh Gowariker used to study in the next college. All of them worked in college plays together.
Gradually Deepak began to feel that he liked acting. His college had more art and cultural programs. Initially he danced, then started doing drama. Then he felt that he should also work in films. According to Deepak, when he first did a drama, his mother was very happy. This was the reason that he decided to go to films.

Was felt that I will become actor as soon as I left college
When Deepak used to participate in plays in college, everyone praised his acting. He felt that as soon as the college was over, he would get work in films immediately and he would soon become a Bollywood superstar, but the reality was something else.
In this interview, Deepak told that as the experience for a job is asked, he was also asked in the film industry what experience he has. Many people advised him to go to acting school and learn. He tried to convince that he had done a lot of work in the theater, but no one paid attention. After repeated rejections, he understood that only talent is not enough, the certificate of acting school is also considered necessary to step into the film industry.
Used to do jobs overnight, in the morning used to make a circle of producers’ office
Even though Deepak was trying to work in films along with studies in college, the financial situation in his house was not good at all. His father’s income was not too much, so the entire responsibility of the house came on the shoulders of the elder brother at the age of 16. In such a situation, Deepak also started doing night office night duty at Bandra’s Hotel Sea Rock to reduce his brother’s burden. He worked there for about a year.
After studying in college, he used to go round the office of producers to get work in the film industry during the day and then work at night, so that the house expenses could also run.

Sacted sales representative in magazine, then steps in modeling
Deepak’s journey was not easy. He also worked as a sales representative in Cine Blitz magazine. Instead of working in a magazine, he worked for an advertising company. When Deepak went there, the people of the agency and especially Alkaben and Bharat Dabholkar felt that this boy could also do modeling. In such a situation, he asked Deepak one day whether he would like to work in modeling? According to Deepak, he always wanted to come to this world, in such a situation he said yes and then his modeling career started from here.

Many times I felt like leaving everything and working
Deepak had no identity in the film industry. Without any godfather, he stepped here, which made it very difficult in the beginning. Many times he had to wait for hours outside the director’s office for a role, but still does not get work. Many times he would come to his mind to leave everything and do a job.
Deepak said- In the day of struggle, stars started appearing during the day, because this world was completely different. Whether or not you will be able to stay here, it seems only when you take the first step, but the difficulty was how to take the first step, because the place is not available.
He read the struggles of many successful artists and decided that if he started with a small role, I will also do it. However, the mother was not happy with this. He felt that the film industry is not right for me. She always used to say to complete studies, take degrees, but father used to say that if acting was to be done then why did he spend so much on studies?
A call came and got the film Aashiqui
Despite many years of struggle, Deepak was not getting any work. He was broken. Then one day suddenly he received a call. The avatar on the phone was Gill. He said- Mahesh Bhatt is casting for the role of a friend’s friend in the film Aashiqui, go and meet.
Deepak immediately came to meet Mahesh Bhatt. Bhatt Saheb asked a direct question- what has been done so far? Then when Deepak auditioned, he got a role in the film. However, when he got a roll offer, he said sadly, okay, I will do it. Hearing this, Bhatt Saheb got angry and asked why are you talking like this?
Deepak immediately told him- will you make me a little actor? On this, Mahesh Bhatt assured that the role I am giving is not small. And that thing proved to be true. Deepak never looked back after Aashiqui.
Whatever won the same reject in Alexander, then the cast was done
Both Deepak and Akshay Kumar were rejected in the film Jeeta Jeeta. About 70 percent of the film’s shooting was also completed, but during this time actor Milind Soman, who plays Shekhar Malhotra, left the film. In such a situation, Aamir Khan suggested the name of Deepak Tijori. Something similar happened with the character of ‘Charlie’ of the film Ghulam. There too Aamir had taken his name forward. Deepak then realized that there was a strong relationship between a hero and the producer.

Deepak was cast in place of Akshay Kumar in the film Jeeta Jeeta Alexander.
More than 20 films were flops, direct movies were beaten
After making his debut with the film Aashiqui, only a few films of Deepak were hits, but after that all his films started beating. He gave more than 20 flop films in his career. However, he did not lose courage and stayed in the film industry. In 2003, he decided to go to direction. Made films like Tom Dick and Harry, Khamoshi- Khouf Ki Ek Raat, but she could not show wonders at the box office. Deepak did shows like Saturday suspense, thriller@10, dial 100 as TV producer. His film Tipci, who came in 2024, also flopped.

Deepak, as a hero, worked only in the first intoxication. It also featured Raveena Tandon and Pooja Bhatt.
Wife expelled out of the house, stayed in illegal marriage for 20 years
Deepak married fashion designer Shivani in 1997. Director Kabir Sadanand is his brother -in -law, while actress Kunika Sadanand seems to be his sister -in -law. However, differences between the two started after a few years of marriage.
According to a report by Spotboy, in 2017, Shivani kicked Deepak out of his house in Goregaon. It was told that Shivani suspected that Deepak had a relationship with another woman. He gave Deepak only one room in the house and ordered the servants not to give food and water. After this, Deepak had to go to a friend’s house.
Amid this dispute, Deepak enlisted the help of a counselor and started the process of legal action. During this time he came to know that Shivani is not legally his wife. Deepak alleged that Shivani did not divorce her first husband and she was already married. In such a situation, he was living with someone else’s wife for 20 years.
At the same time, Shivani said that she had told Deepak about her first marriage and also said that she was a mistake, but she could not legally end that marriage. Shivani claimed that Deepak was aware of this and despite this he decided to live together. Please tell that Deepak and Shivani have two children Samara and Karan.
