Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been given great relief by the Delhi High Court. The court has protected the actress’ personal and personality rights, stating that her personal image, photos, content and voice without permission have violated the right to live with dignity. The court has issued notice to e-commerce platforms, Google etc., giving interim instructions to remove the Shikayati URL in the petition of the actress within 72 hours, to intendor, inactive and block block.

The court has asked Electronics and IT Ministers, IT departments to issue necessary instructions to block and disable all such URLs. In the order, the court has directed Google and e-commerce website to file all available original customer information in a sealed envelope.
Please tell that Aishwarya Rai filed a petition in the Delhi High Court for Personality Rights on Tuesday. The actress’s lawyer Sandeep Sethi told about the websites who are selling many un–autonomized items including Aishwarya’s name and her picture mug, T-shirt and drink products, calling themselves official platforms.

Apart from Aishwarya Rai, her husband Abhishek Bachchan has also filed a petition in the court regarding her ‘Personality Rights’. Earlier, celebrities like his father Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor to Jackie Shroff have also turned to the court with their voice, picture, dialogue and special style.
