When the pages were overturned, it also had the name of Delhi-Mumbai’s famous model and actress Angel Gupta, which Sunita considered to be the reason for the ruin of her life. At the same time, Angel Gupta was seen in 2016 in Shakti Kapoor, Aditya Pancholi starrer film Bhori from Item Song Jhumka Lee Bareilly. He acted in 20 Bollywood films.

Angel Gupta’s real name was Shubhpriya. His mother was a British citizen while the father was a businessman of Indian origin. He was born in Delhi. She was a few years old when her father died. After this, his mother met a man named Rajiv and both started living together. Rajiv was a rich businessman. She raised her like Shubhpriya aka Angel’s daughter. With increasing age, Shubhpriya decided to go into modeling. When he told this to his stepfather Rajiv, he also agreed. He also helped Shubhpriya go to Mumbai to do modeling. After joining the glamor world, Shubhpriya changed her name to Angel. It was not difficult for Angel to find work for a very beautiful Angel.
Initially, after doing some minor modeling projects, Angel also started playing small roles in films. However, he got a big break from the 2016 film ‘Bhaori’ item song ‘Jhumka Bareilly Se’.

At the same time, while leaving the club, a man named Manjit heard the screams of the girl and immediately reached there. He fought fiercely with miscreants without thinking and saved Angel.

Manjeet’s entry like a hero and saved Angel’s heart. It would not be wrong to call it the love of first sight. Outside the club, he spoke to Angel on the pretext of thanking and then both exchanged the number. Soon this friendship turned into love and then a series of meetings started.
Angel’s visit to Delhi had now increased, the reason was Manjeet. A few months later, one day Manjit told Angel that he is married and the father of two children. Angel was definitely shocked, but she was so eager for Manjeet that she did not make any difference. The two often stayed in Angel’s house in Delhi.
This film story took a serious turn when Manjeet’s wife saw some objectionable pictures of her and Angel in her phone in 2014. Sunita broke badly with her husband’s affair. He asked Manjeet to end the relationship, but he was not ready for it. Fights started growing in the house with this affair. Sunita told this to Manjeet and her family. All reached home and instructed Manjeet to distance Angel and focus on the family. All these things were ineffective.

Amid growing quarrels in the house, one day Manjit took his luggage and shifted to Angel’s house in Rani Bagh in Delhi. He flatly refused to come home. For 5 months, wife Sunita kept asking her to return, but she did not agree. One day Sunita threatened her that if she does not return, she would commit suicide with the daughter. Eventually Manjeet had to return.
By 2018, Angel had almost stopped focusing on his career for Manjeet. Now she wanted to get married and settle. One day Angel told his stepfather Rajiv full story of his relationship. His father objected to Manjeet’s marriage in the beginning, but he also agreed to the daughter’s insistence. He called Manjit to meet and clearly said that either leave his wife and marry Angel or get separated.
Manjeet went to his wife on the same day and said that he was divorcing them. Wife Sunita adamant that she would not divorce. Manjeet tried to separate from Sunita in every way, but she did not listen.
When Manjeet told this to girlfriend Angel, she was enraged. She decided that whatever happens, she will not let Sunita come in the way of her wedding.
Angel sought help from his half -father Rajiv to remove Sunita from the road and he also agreed to the daughter. He included his driver Deepak in this plan and gave the task of finding a betel killer. In a few days, driver Deepak got two betel nut killers Vishal alias Johnny and Shahzad Saifi contacted him. The shooters demanded Rs 18 lakh for this work, but Angel negotiated and decided for Rs 10 lakh. 50 thousand were given as advance and then two days later 1.5 lakhs.
Angel gave Sunita’s pictures and her address to the shooters. Angel’s father Rajiv himself did Sunita’s Reiki for several days and saw which path she used to go to school through home. In this plan, Manjeet’s job was that he would call the shooters and tell that at what time Sunita has left the house.
27 October 2018 was the day of Karvachauth. Angel told Manjeet that she would fast for him. On the other hand, Sunita also kept a fast for him, so it was difficult to get out of the house. In such a situation, Angel said that she will get Sunita murdered before Karvachauth. He sent the shooters outside Sunita’s house on 26 October. Both of them started waiting for him to leave. When Sunita did not come out for some time, both the shooters started buying samosas near the house, Sunita left the house at the same time and both of them missed.
Angel was very angry to hear this news. The next day, on October 27, Karvachauth was there, Sunita took leave and she did not leave the house. He fasted for Manjeet. The next day was Sunday on 28 October, the day Sunita was a holiday, she did not leave the house on this day. After waiting for two days, Sunita left for school on October 29 at 7 am. As soon as he left, Manjeet gave a missed call on the shooters number and informed him of Sunita’s departure. Both started waiting for them in the deserted area of Bawana and then on seeing them, two bullets were shot in the stomach and one on the chest. If the road was empty, he worked easily.
A special investigation team was formed under the leadership of ACP Saurabh Chandra and Inspector Dharma Dev to investigate the murder. The first important clue in the investigation was Sunita’s diary, in which she wrote the full story of husband Manjit and Angel’s affair. On the basis of the diary and family statement, Manjeet was taken into custody on October 29. Manjeet kept making stories in custody, but he broke strictly by the police. He confessed to joining the murder. Based on his statement, the police arrested Angel, his half -father Rajiv and the driver in just 24 hours.

At the time of arrest, when Manjeet was asked by the media why he got his wife murdered, he clearly retracted that Angel and his father got him done, it had nothing to do with it. However, the police had strong evidence against him. In this case, in 2025, the Rohini court sentenced all the accused to life imprisonment. All Tihar are lodged in jail.
