These days, Karan Kundra, who is seen in celebrity comedy cooking reality show Laughter Chefs- Unlimited Entertainment, has recently spoken on her journey in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar. Karan has told that when he told his family about going to this show, the family said that he would spoil the name of the family, because he did not know cooking. Question- You have surprised people by cooking in the master chef, did you think you will win the hearts of such people?
answer- I am also surprised myself. I never thought. Because cooking is something that I never thought in life. From the interplayer to acting, hosting, hardcore reality shows, but not in comedy. It was going to be a filler show, but it became very big. Then I understood that I like to do this. If you are a person who likes to solve things, likes to achieve, then cooking is also like a therapy, because you are putting all things together to make something.
In the first season, Arjun Bijlani was the cooking partner of Karan Kundra.
The first season was Arjun (Bijlani). Arjun is a very good cook, so I did not have to do much in it. Brother is doing his own. But in that too, whenever we used to create such a chief, there was great praise. Everyone wanted to see each other growing. Enjoyed very much.
Question- You have earned relationships for years, only less people are able to do this?
answer- I am very thankful. I was thinking about this some time ago. I take a lot of brakes, between my shows. I am doing many things. But when it comes to the audience, people, whenever I meet people in this industry, I get a lot of love. I come to know that these people are my well wishers. I come to know that people who did not get 6-6 months are talking somewhere about me. All this has been given by the above. I have no hand in this.
Question- What would you like to say on Arjun Bijlani and your pair and this jugalbandi?
answer- I have been lucky in both season. In the first season I was with my very close friend and the second season was a surprise element. The makers who do not know we do not know. I will give its full credit to the makers, because they see what we do not see. In the last season I used to work less. Elvish works less in this season. Like my younger brother. If we had to win, we did not even know, so we used to say. It was as if trying to win cricket in the baseball field.
Question- What did you like the most challenging thing this season?
answer- Challengeing, see it was like solving puzzle for us. Because we used to watch on TV first, then looked down, the heads used to scratch how to reach there from here. Nothing is known and does not tell. The makers did not tell us anything. Because this was fun. We were understanding and running, this was the format of the show. Asking Ali here and there, asking Rubina whether it is basic. What is the basic of cake, how it is made, whose rice is, it will be like this, fry it. At the same time, everyone had to solve and then make a dish of its own. I think it was very fun. The second season was difficult from the first season. The dishes were also high and she was equally complex. Bo was very difficult.
Question- What are the best complexes in the show?
answer- When I came back (second season), it was seen without saying anything that I have got. Some things are feeling. It was kept secret. Bharti (host) did not even know. His teleprompter was also kept blank. She was shocked to see me.
Question- When your mother and sister came to know for the first time that you are going to such a show, what was the reaction?
answer- They say that it will come by spoiling the name of our family, it will come in the soil. Because they know that I cannot cook. But they did not even know and I did not even know that I could cook. I myself get shocked sometimes. Like once we were making a dish and meaning I ate, ate everyone, then our beans were coming. I mixed some spices and then I tested, made a lot of amazing. One day there was watermail juice. I put chili in it. Nobody thought that I will put chili halepinos in it in watermail juice. Harpal ji (judge) tasted him and he said what is this. I know that he is a chef, he must have seen somewhere. He said, brother, you have done wonders. Then I understood that I have an understanding of Test.
Question- Tejashwi also came, what was made that day?
answer- What was that day. That day we made something Dholak-Volak. After that, some green color was made, I am telling the same juice. I think that on the same day, he was seen to do Novalti and something new. I am a completely different person with Tejashwi. Some people also knew on the set. Like Ankita, Vicky, Ali, etc., know how I am with Teju, because we all know. Abhishek and Samarth also saw and said, who is this brother? The brother who is seen today is not a brother. So I said- yes brother, I am different with him.
Question- Have you ever made anything for Tejashwi?
answer- No, I did not make anything. Actually he has made a lot for me.
Question- What do you like their hands?
answer- Man, she always thinks something new. Like sometimes she wakes up in the morning and says, today I will make cheela and feed it. Because we also have dogs, bandits and Majnu. Whenever there is a free day, he and Sonu and our puppy are all in the kitchen. It is not mine that I get up and make something. I watch the news by turning on TV. For example, where did the bitcoin reach, what did Trump do. And it happens that today I will make it. She really likes it very much.
Question- What would you like to say to your fans?
answer- I just want to say that the episodes of ‘Laughter Chef’, which you will see now, have so many twists and turns, and something like magic is happening. Which is our finale, obviously it has already been shot. We started that from 10 am and shot till 6 am the next day. Therefore, this is a very special finale. I think you will enjoy a lot in the coming weeks. A lot has happened, a lot has been different in ‘Laughter Chef’, then definitely see.
Question- OTT and films have a different avatar, when are the new projects coming?
answer- I think ‘Laughter Chef’ has ended just a week. I was a long time in Dubai. After coming from there, I just wanted to complete the ‘Laughter Chef’. And as I said, I have a bad habit that I do not jump on any project immediately. I take my time. So this time I have the same condition. I want to understand myself what I have to do. Because until I have a passion for anything, I am not able to put my energy in it. Then that energy does not come. He does not look good. So now I am thinking and understanding.
Question- Always be so fit, that noor on the face, how is that glow?
answer- Noor on the face comes from makeup (laughing). I would say do not run after these international fads, such as dieting, workouts, intermittent fasting. Our Vedas have everything that our parents have taught us. He is the best, and try it. He is better.
