Bollywood actress Karishma Kapoor’s two children Adhara and Kian have moved the Delhi High Court to get a share in their assets of 30,000 crores of their father Sanjay Kapoor.
According to the Bar and Bench, the children have accused their stepmother Priya Sachdev Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor’s third wife) that they made a change in Sanjay Kapoor’s will and tried to capture the entire property.
In a petition filed through her mother, the children said that after Sanjay Kapoor’s sudden demise in the UK in June 2025, Priya Kapoor wrongly kept her out of the property.
The petition includes Priya Kapoor and her younger son, Rani Kapoor, mother of Sanjay Kapoor and Shraddha Suri Marwah, alleged executive of will.
Explain that this petition hearing will be held on September 10.
The center of controversy is a will of March 21, 2025, in which the entire assets of Sanjay Kapoor were allegedly given to Priya Kapoor.

The children’s lawyer said that Priya Kapoor’s actions are an indication that she wants to capture the entire property and keep other legal heirs out.
The children have urged the court to declare them class I Legal Heer i.e. a legal heir and each found one-fifth part in the father’s property.
As an interim relief, he has sought to freeze all the personal properties of Sanjay Kapoor until the matter is resolved in the court.

Rani Kapoor wrote in her letter-
I am the wife of Dr. Rani Kapoor, former president of the company and the late Dr. Surinder Kapoor, founder of Sona Group and Founder of Sona Group. According to the will created by my late husband on 30.06.2015, I am the only beneficiary of his property and also the majority shareholder of the gold group including the company. As you know, on 12.06.2025, my son Mr. Sanjay Kapoor passed away in a sad and vague conditions in the United Kingdom. Despite receiving the information, I have not been able to find any relevant answers and documents about the incident.

And I am limited to the information and version given by the media. Please note that during this period of mourning, I was contacted several times and forced to sign various documents without giving any clarification or without giving them time to understand. Despite being under excessive mental and emotional stress, I was forced to sign such documents behind the closed doors and despite repeated requests, I was never told the subject matter of these documents. Please also note that I have been completely denied access to my bank accounts and I have been left to the mercy of a few people to live. All this happened in less than a month after the death of my only son.
Talking to the media on this whole issue, Rani Kapoor’s lawyer Vaibhav Gaggar had said that Rani Kapoor is the head of the Kapoor family and Sona Group.
