Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has acted in about 50 films. She has appeared mainly in Hindi and Tamil films.
Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan filed a petition against several parties in the Delhi High Court on Tuesday. He asked the court to stop his image, personality and identity without permission as it is violating their personality rights.
After hearing in the case, the court said that the injunction order will be passed to protect Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s publicity and personality rights.
Explain that the Inzunction Order is the order of the court, in which someone is asked to stop the illegal or without permission.
According to Live Law, Justice Tejas Karia said that online platforms and people who are using Aishwarya’s photos or their personality are using without permission.
‘Some pictures made from AI and are full fake’
Senior Advocate Sandeep Sethi appeared on behalf of the actress. He said, “His (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) is using image, personality and likes being un–allied. Not only for selling merchandise, but also for pornography works.”
Sethi further said, “This is shocking. His Morfided pictures are being used. All these are generated from AI. Intimet photos were made, which are completely fake. His image and Persona are being used to complete someone’s sexual desire. Defendant is earning money from my client’s name and photo.”
Sethi, citing the defendant website, said, “Look at the second defendant. Aishwarya Rai’s wallpapers, photos etc. are a collection of T-shirts, in which their pictures are being sold.”
The lawyer appearing on behalf of Google cited ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ case and said that links were given in the case, which Google later removed.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in the Tamil film ‘Ponyin Selvan: II’.
According to the bar end bench, the court said during this time- “Only 151 URLs will be included in your case. You remove them. We will order against each defendant because the demands are big, but the inzance will be given separately.”
‘Aishwarya Nation Wealth Company put a picture on letterhead’
Advocate Sandeep Sethi told the court that a company named Aishwarya Nation Wealth put a picture of an actress on letterhead and described her as chairperson. He said, “My client has no idea of this. This is completely fraud.”
Now the next hearing of this case will be held on 15 January 2026.
Please tell that earlier in May, actor Jackie Shroff also reached the court. He had alleged that his image and video were being changed without permission. At that time, the court also secured his personality and publicity rights.
In the year 2023, the court stopped the misuse of Anil Kapoor’s image, voice and his “Jhakas” catchfrays. At the same time, Amitabh Bachchan’s personality and publicity rights were also protected in November 2022.
