Singer Kishore Kumar’s songs always had energy and happiness, but in personal life he faced many difficulties. Kishore Kumar had the first heart attack after the son’s marriage broke up.
In a conversation with Radio Nasha, Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar said that his marriage was decided in 1981. He was about to arrange marriage with a girl from Kolkata. Father Kishore was very happy about this marriage.
Amit told that Kishore had decided that after marriage, he would leave Mumbai and settle in his hometown Khandwa
However, exactly ten days before marriage, it was found that the woman whom Amit was going to get married was already married. Cards were also printed. Kishore was shocked by this news.
Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar is a play back singer, actor and music composer.
Amit said, “Papa could not bear all this. He insisted on going to Kolkata the same day, the day my marriage was fixed. He said- I will go to Kolkata on January 24 and find a girl for you.”
Amit refused him, but the teenager did not agree. He took a flight, reached Kolkata and he suffered a heart attack there. After which he was immediately admitted to the hospital.
Kishore Kumar sang songs not only in Hindi, but also in many languages like Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati.
Kishore Kumar’s health started deteriorating after this. He died in 1987 at the age of 58.
