He accuses her of being the cause of his feelings of betrayal towards Jaya. Rannvijay admits he has been anxious about Jaya discovering the truth but resolves to reveal everything before their marriage. He begins to drag Vaiju with him, determined to confess. However, just as he is about to reveal the truth, Vasundhara collapses.
Rannvijay questions how Vasundhara suddenly fell unconscious. His father explains that Vasundhara has been fasting for Jaya and Rannvijay’s marriage and will only eat once the marriage is complete. Vasundhara insists she is fine. Rannvijay picks up some prasad from the temple and tries to feed it to Vasundhara. When she refuses, Vaiju intervenes and convinces her to eat. As Jaya approaches the altar, her veil accidentally catches fire. Sulekha notices the smoke and questions its source. Vaiju quickly extinguishes the fire and blames herself for breaking her fast.
Rannvijay takes the blame and is about to confess his marriage to Vaiju when he realizes it was just his imagination. He hopes Vaiju will have the courage to tell the truth. Vaiju, instead, helps Jaya with her veil, remarking that it is fitting for a bride. Rannvijay again tries to confess, but Vaiju stops him, stating that they have decided not to argue anymore. Vasundhara urges everyone to proceed with the marriage as the auspicious time is passing.
The marriage rituals of Rannvijay and Jaya begin while Vaiju watches, hiding her emotions. As Rannvijay and Jaya exchange garlands and start the seven rounds, Rannvijay looks at Vaiju, but she turns away, recalling her own marriage with him. Vaiju feels suffocated by the situation, even though it is unfolding as she had wanted. At this moment, Aaji arrives, surprising Vaiju. Vaiju, worried that Aaji might discover the truth, acts rudely towards her, dismissing the gifts she brought by saying they are not worthy and that she was not invited to the wedding.
Rannvijay observes this interaction secretly. Aaji, however, gives vermillion to Vaiju and asks her to apply it. The episode ends with Vaiju apologizing to Aaji, saying she has already given her vermillion to Jaya.
