How is the story of the film?
The story is an emotional journey from Delhi to Lansdowne (Uttarakhand). Tanvi (Shubhangi Dutt) is an autistic girl, who leaves her mother Vidya (Pallavi Joshi) to her grandfather Colonel Raina (Anupam Kher) before going abroad.
Colonel Raina has retired from the army and is very disciplined. In the beginning, he does not understand the world of Tanvi, but gradually a deep relationship between the two. The story bends when Tanvi watches a video of her martyred father (Karan Taker), in which she said that she wanted him to salute the tricolor in Siachen one day. This dream also starts to see that she will join the army and fulfill her father’s dream.
Another emotional turn in this journey comes when an army officer Major Srinivasan (Arvind Swamy) comes to know that sometimes an unknown person saved his life by giving blood. Later, he suffers a shock to know that he was none other than Tanvi’s martyr father. Now the same little girl is dreaming of entering the army. This thing shocks them inside.

How is the acting of Starcast?
Shubhangi Dutt has played his character wholeheartedly. He has not only played the character, but has lived it. Every emotion of them touches you inside.
Anupam Kher has played his character in a very true and simple way. How a strict grandfather slowly changes with a little girl. This is shown very beautifully. Artists such as Pallavi Joshi, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Nasser and Iin Glenn have also left an impact in small roles.
How is the film direction and technical side?
Anupam Kher’s direction is very balanced and emotional. He has made this film very honestly and heartily. The beauty and peace of Lansdowne (Uttarakhand) has been caught by the camera in a very brilliant way.
The speed of the film may look slow, but its depth is hidden in this slowness. Some of the deepest views are without any dialogues. For example, when Tanvi first says “Dadu”, or when Srinivasan realizes that Tanvi is the daughter of the martyr who saved her life. The film has no vigorous dialogues, nor any artificial drama. Just truth, feelings and love. Which touches the heart.
