Director Farooq Kabir’s web series ‘Salakar: The Legend of An Extraordinary Indian Spai’ has recently streamted on Jio Hotstar. This series shows how Indian Spai won India by ruining the plan to make the atomic bomb of Pakistan’s General Ziaul Haq. Ever since this series has been released, the director has been threatening to kill the Pakistani.
Recently, the director of the series Farooq Kabir told during a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar that he is not afraid of such threats. The director also talked about his experience in the film industry so far. Here is some special part of the conversation ..

How has you experienced in the film industry so far?
The industry is a bit harsh. People here have forgotten the importance of relationships. I think where the limit of money ends, the limit of talukat begins. It also happened to me that when something succeeded, calls came from all over the world.
After ‘Salakar’, some enemies have also received phones and messages. I think this series may be liked by people. If nothing is successful, then everyone also disappears. Whether success or failure, I maintain restraint in both circumstances.
More failure than success is learned to humans, how did you retain the encouragement in failure?
I believe in God a lot. All my strength comes with faith in mother and God. Many times humans break trust and hurt the heart. Then they stop depending on humans. Gradually, the truth of life starts to understand.
If there are parents, then serve them and earn blessings and maintain a very strong relationship with God. This is to say that the world agreed. I want to persuade my Lord more than the world.

The web series ‘Salakar’ stream on Jio Hotstar on 8 August.
So when there is a threat to kill Pakistan, there is no fear. Did such a threat even after ‘Salakar’?
Pakistani has gone mad. After the release of ‘Salakar’, more than a thousand hatred messages are lying on Instagram. Messages are also coming. We are not afraid of such messages. People irritate why the Muslim director created such a story. As much as I am Muslim, I am also Hindustani. This is my land. Born here, this is my homeland.
Some such messages have also come as to why Vande Mataram has been a Muslim. He says that Muslims speak Vande Mataram. I said that one lakh times I would say Vande Mataram. I do not mind that this will release my name fatwa.
Our upbringing has been such that never heard such things in the house. Our parents never spoke on these subjects. I used to play Lejam in Ganesh Chaturthi. Holi is my most favorite festival. Recently, Premanand Maharaj came to Vrindavan.
I grew up in this culture. I grew up in Diwali Eid. Celebrated Christmas in school. There is no question of religious identity in this. My sister is married in the Rajput family. I did his donation himself.
