Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated actor Rajinikanth on completing 50 years in cinema.
PM Modi shared a file photo of a meeting held in Delhi on social media platform X and wrote,

Congratulations to Thiru Rajinikanth ji on completing 50 great years in the world of cinema. His journey has been memorable. His different roles have had a profound impact on the hearts of people for generations. In the coming time, he gets more success and he should be healthy, this is the best wishes.

The Prime Minister also posted the same message in Tamil language.
Responding to this post of PM Modi, Rajinikanth wrote,

Respected Narendra Modi ji, I heartily thank you for your best wishes. It is a matter of pride for me to get such respectable words, especially from a leader whom I have considered a lot for a long time. Thank you for your words. Jai Hind.

Rajinikanth made her debut in films in 1975
On April 15 this year, Rajinikanth completed 50 years in the industry. He in 1975 K.K. Balachander’s debut was made with ‘Apoorva Ragangal’. The recent film ‘Coolie’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraja, was released in theaters on 14 August. It stars Rajinikanth along with Nagarjuna, Saubin Shaheer, Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj, Upendra and Aamir Khan in the lead roles.
Rajinikanth announced to contest elections
Please tell that Rajinikanth announced to enter politics on 31 December 2017. He had said that he will field candidates for all 234 seats in the 2021 Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
However, on 12 July 2021, he dissolved his organization ‘Rajni Makkal Mandram’ (RMM) and made it clear that he had no plans to enter politics.
At the same time, after winning the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, Rajinikanth congratulated PM Modi and wrote- Respected and dear Narendra Modi, many congratulations, you shown, God Blass.
In 2019, Rajinikanth supported the Central Government’s decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Rajinikanth also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He also called Modi-Shah a pair of Krishna-Arjun.
After this, in the year 2024, Rajinikanth congratulated PM Modi on becoming Prime Minister for the third time.
