Actress Radhika Madan appeared in the film ‘English Medium’ with late actor Irrfan Khan. This film helped a lot in pursuing his career. But the actress fell behind the director to get the film role. After much effort, he got a chance of audition. Actually, in Farah Khan’s new cooking blog, Radhika told how she fought for ‘English Medium’. He also told that someone else had already chosen for that role. But she went, fought and harassed the director and said, ‘Please take my audition.’
Radhika played the role of Irfan’s daughter in ‘English Medium’.
Radhika says- ‘For English, someone was first locked. I went and fought to take my audition. He told me that Madam we need a 17 -year -old girl. I told him that I will do it. The director of the film Homi Adajania said that it should audition it. I went for shiddat. I was playing with auditions, I used to think who I am, which I would get. A lot of star kids were launched that year. ,
Farah then used to ask Radhika whether he knew which starkid was there in that film. In response, Radhika says, she does not know. Then Farah teases Radhika and says- ‘People keep saying that star kids do not allow outsiders to work, but in reality Radhika is real guilty, because she stole the role of a star kid.’
The show ‘Saas Bahu Aur Flemingo’ has also worked with Radhika Homi.
