Bollywood actress Vidya Balan’s debut film ‘Parineeta’ is re -releasing in theaters next week. Vidya made her Bollywood debut with this film.
The film was directed by the late Pradeep Sarkar. Sharing her experience during the shooting, Vidya said that Pradeep Sarkar had noticed every small detail during the shooting.
Vidya said to PTI, “Dada (Pradeep Sarkar) was the foundation of everything learned in my early years. His focus was fantastic on every small detail. He used to pay attention to everyone, not just for acting but by flying a pigeon or falling outside the window at the right time.
‘Parineeta’ was based on the 1914 Bengali novel of Shard Chandra Chattopadhyay.
While sharing an anecdote, Vidya said, “Once I had to re-tech a tear in a song to do perfect time with the right line. This is the perfection he (Pradeep Sarkar). His guidance taught me to watch, understand and respect every detail carefully. Learned. This was his gift for all of us. “
Originally ‘Parineeta’ was released in June 2005. Apart from Vidya Balan, the film featured Saif Ali Khan in the lead role.
