South superstar Rajinikanth recalled the days of his struggle at the trailer and audio launch event of his upcoming film ‘Coolie’. He told how he cried for the first time in life while working as a porter.

Rajinikanth said that when I was cooling, I had to listen to the scolding many times. Once a man gave me 2 rupees to keep his luggage in Tempo. His voice became known. He was my college friend. I used to tease him a lot in college. He had said what you are doing. That was the first time I cried in life.

The film ‘Kuli’ also stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Shruti Haasan along with Rajinikanth. At the event, Rajinikanth praised Nagarjuna’s hair line.

The film ‘Coolie’ will be released on 14 August 2025.

Rajinikanth said that I saw Nagarjuna during the shooting, he still looks the same. His hair is still the same today. All my hair flew away. I asked, what is your secret? He said that exercise.

Rajinikanth did many minor things after leaving college

Please tell that Rajinikanth’s real name is Shivaji Rao Gaikwad. He started his life in a very simple way. After leaving college, he did small things like Coolie, Carpenter and Office Boy in Bengaluru. He later worked as a bus conductor in the Bengaluru Transport Service, where he used to get only 750 rupees a month.

Rajinikanth has acted in many Bollywood films like “Andha Law,” “Hum,” “Chalbaaz” and “Phool Baneon”.

Rajinikanth used to play in theater after work. Raj Bahadur, a friend, advised him to enroll at the Madras Film Institute. Rajinikanth enrolled despite the family’s displeasure.

In the year 1975, K.K. Rajinikanth got the first role in Balachander’s film Apoorva Ragangal. It was a small role, but his strong presence caught everyone’s attention. In 1978, he got the role of a hero in the film ‘Bhairavi’, which gave recognition.

After this, hit films like ‘Basha’, ‘Padayyappa’ and ‘Shivaji the Boss’ made Rajinikanth a superstar of South India.
