In the film ‘Saira’, Anit Padda was casting by famous casting director Shanu Sharma. Recently, Shanu gave an exclusive interview to Anupama Chopra for The Hollywood Reporter India, in which she was seen talking on Anit’s casting process. Shanu has also posted this interview on his Instagram. Now ‘Mirzapur’ fame actress Isha Talwar has commented on that post, which caught the attention of the people.
On Shanu’s post, Isha has expressed displeasure while sharing the story of her audition. The actress told how Shanu and her team had taken her audition, due to which her confidence was completely broken.
She writes- ‘When I started auditioning Shanu for the role, I was asked to do a scene at Mia Kuchina Restaurant in Versova, Mumbai. A crying scene in the middle of a busy restaurant, in which the customers were eating food next to my table. I was told that I should not hesitate as an actor and so I should do a crying scene sitting in front of Shanu and some of his assistants.
It was a very confusing and strange demand. It badly broke my confidence as a young girl in films. I could not understand why a senior casting director had to pass a young girl from this situation.

She further writes- ‘It would be appropriate to give a good casting office place to audition to the actor. If you want to work on real location, then take the place on rent, pay it and audition. Well, after a decade, I am keeping this story to tell all the new waist not to feel any pressure. I remember that I said that I could not do this work and of course I never got the role. But at least I did not kneel in front of this strange demand and did not cry in restaurants for any role.

Isha was seen as a child artist in Aishwarya Rai’s film ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’.
Talking about Isha’s workfront, she also works for Malayali, Tamil, Punjabi and Odia industry besides Hindi. He started her career as a child in Bollywood. She appeared as a lead in the Malayali film ‘Thaatathin Marayathu’. Isha is famous for her played roles in the series ‘Mirzapur’ and ‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’.
