Today, on the special occasion of Independence Day, August 15, the tricolor was hoisted across the country. Many Bollywood celebrities also shared pictures of tricolor and patriotism on social media.
Priyanka Chopra shared a video on Instagram in which the tricolor appeared waving and she wrote, ‘Happy Independence Day’.
Sonali Bendre adopted a different style. He shared pictures of Strey Dogs and wrote, ‘Independence Day reminds us, freedom should be for everyone.’
Akshay Kumar, giving respect to everyday hero, wrote, ‘Freedom feels more special when we take care of the places around us. Playing volleyball on the beach, I found some real heroes, cleaning our beach. Everyone was smiling and working heartily.
Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranot shared the video waving the tricolor. He discussed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign from the Red Fort. In the caption, he wrote, “Happy Independence Day.”
