Divisional Tina has broken the silence on the news of divorce related to Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja.
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, when he was asked on the news of his parents’ divorce, Tina said, “This is all rumored.” He further said, “I do not pay attention to these rumors.”
When she was asked how she reacts on such reports again and again, she replied, “What should I say? Papa is not even in the country.”
He further said, “I am very happy that I have got such a beautiful family. I am very grateful for the love and support we are getting from the media, fans and my loved ones.”
Govinda and Sunita’s daughter Tina made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Second Hand Husband’ (2015).
Please tell that rumors of Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s divorce have been in discussion since Friday. It began when Houtfly claimed in a report that Sunita Ahuja filed a divorce case in the Bandra Family Court on 5 December 2024.
According to the report, Sunita has applied for divorce under Section 13 (1) (i), (IA), (IB) of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. This means that the basis of divorce has been described as adultry (physical relations with other women), cruelty and desiration (leaving partner without reason).
The report claimed that the court had sent a notice to Govinda to appear to Govinda, but he personally appeared until the show causes notice was issued in May 2025. Since June 2025, both have been trying to resolve the case in compulsory counseling sessions by the court.
Govinda made seven rounds with Sunita Ahuja on 11 March 1987.

However, on Friday, a source close to Govinda denied these reports in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar.
At the same time, Govinda’s manager said in a recent conversation with news agency ANI, ‘Whatever news related to divorce is coming up is based on old events. Everything is fine between Govinda-Sunita at the moment. This is the old thing, which is now being spread. I am constantly getting calls, but now everything is fine. Everything has been solved among them. There is nothing to worry, we will soon release official statements.
Govinda’s manager has also said that some people are trying to take advantage by spreading such false stories.
Apart from this, Govinda’s lawyer dismissed the news of divorce related to the couple.
In a conversation with NDTV, Govinda’s lawyer Lalit Bindra had clearly said -“There is no case, everything is solving. All these people are picking up old things.”

Actually, Sunita Ahuja has recently started Vlogging. In her recent Vlog, Sunita Ahuja was seen talking about the rumors of divorce. In the video, she appeared to go to a temple, where she said while talking to the priest that she has been going to Mahalakshmi temple since childhood.
She further said crying, ‘When I met Govinda, I asked my mother to get married to her and our life goes well. Mother fulfilled all my wishes. We also had children. But not everything is easily found, sometimes in relationships becomes high and low. Still I trust my mother. Even today, if I find anything difficult, then I know that whoever tries to break my family, mother will face her.
