John Abraham will soon be seen in the film ‘Tehran’. Nowadays the actor is busy promoting the film. Meanwhile, he has given his opinion on popularity, censorship and nationalist films made nowadays in an interview in an interview.
In an interview to India Today, while talking on John Censorship, he said- ‘We need censorship, but the way it is being controlled, there is some question mark on it. They have been good with us, but I have been responsible for the way I have been making my films. I am not of a right wing or left wing. I am anarchic. It is a matter of concern for me that right -wing films get a lot of audiences. Then as a filmmaker, you ask yourself which path will you follow? Will I adopt a commercial path or will I be adamant on my point? I have chosen another way. ‘

The film will also feature Neeru Bajwa and Manushi Chillar alongside John.
When asked if he would consider making films like ‘Chhava’ or ‘The Kashmir Files’, John openly responded. He said- I have not seen ‘Chhava’ and ‘The Kashmir files’, but I know that people have liked it. But when films are made with the intention of influencing people in an over-political atmosphere and such films get audience, it is scary for me. The answer to your question is that no, I have never had a greed to make such films and I will never make such films.

Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Chhava’ did a business of Rs 800 crore at the box office.
John’s film Tehran OTT is scheduled to release on August 14 on the OTT platform G5. The film is based on an attack on Israeli diplomats in 2012. The film is playing the role of John ACP Rajiv Kumar.
