Actor John Abraham recently said that he would never make political impact films like ‘Chhava’ or ‘The Kashmir Files’. Now filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has responded to this.
In a conversation with NDTV, Vivek said, “John is neither a historian, nor intellectual, nor a writer nor thinker. He has made only patriotic films such as ‘Satyamev Jayate’ and ‘Diplomat’. He must have made this statement for many reasons. If this thing would be understood if a big historian says this, but I do not have any difference.”
Advising John, Vivek said, “He is known for riding a bike, showing body and eating protein. He should focus on them. It would be better to avoid commenting on cinema.”
Let us know that Vivek’s new film ‘The Bengal Files’ will be released on 5 September 2025 next year.

Both have worked in the film ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Gol’, directed by Vivek Agnihotri and John Abraham was in the lead role in that film.
What did John Abraham say?
In fact, in a recent interview to India Today, when he was asked whether he would consider making films like ‘Chhava’ or ‘The Kashmir Files’, John replied.
He had said- I have not seen ‘Chhava’ and ‘The Kashmir files’, but I know that people have liked it. But when films are made with the intention of influencing people in an over-political atmosphere and such films get audience, it is scary for me. The answer to your question is that no, I have never had a greed to make such films and I will never make such films.

Manushi Chillar along with John is also seen in the film ‘Tehran’.
Let us know that John’s film ‘Tehran’ has been released on August 14 on the OTT platform G5. The film is based on an attack on Israeli diplomats in 2012. The film stars John ACP Rajiv Kumar.
