Assembly elections are going to be held in Bihar in a few days. Amid the electoral atmosphere, actor Pankaj Tripathi has made a special appeal to the people through Dainik Bhaskar.
Pankaj Tripathi said,
Abari Chhatho celebrated and voted, where did I get a good chance. We do not celebrate ‘Holiday’ on the day of votes like metro cities.
Bihar has always been aware of politics. From the Republic of Vaishali to the Magadha Empire, Champaran, from the Neel Movement of Champaran to the entire revolution movement of 1974, our political understanding and activism is known all over the country. I have often been talking the same things to people in my village of Gopalganj.
I told the villagers to choose the most honest person and vote. On this, the villagers took the name of a candidate and said- ’15 votes were held in the election of the chief’s chief.’
I explained to them that see, the person felt that 15 people of the area consider me honest. Thinking this, he will be encouraged. Next time he will work more hard, it will be more active in the electoral process. We have to understand the voters that our idea can be extended only by voting. Vote is our right.

I myself have been the brand ambassador of the Election Commission. By 2000, there was a voter in Bihar, but Mumbai shifted and became the voter there. Got his name cut off from the village of Gopalganj. Like a conscious citizen, I called the District Election Officer and removed the name. We are spread in many states of the country for Bihari livelihood, but we definitely reach the village on any one of the Chhath, Holi or Diwali.

Has the ability to work. We are not people holiday on the day of voting like metro cities.
The voter of Bihar does not consider voting as ‘holiday’, while many people in big cities avoid voting that day as a holiday. Preparations begin in our villages 2-3 days before voting. The atmosphere remains that ‘today is our day’.
We can choose our leader only by vote. We should work in Bihari Bihar…, with this belief, parties will have to come forward.
