Actor Achyut Potdar, who has been seen in several blockbuster hit films like 3 Idiots, Rangeela, Ishq, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Dabangg 2, has died on Monday. The actor was 91 years old. The reason for the death of Achyut Potdar has not been revealed. However, according to the report of Hindustan Times, the actor was admitted to the hospital in Thane, Mumbai some time ago due to age -related problems. His funeral will take place today.
The official social media account of Star Flow Channel has paid tribute to Achyut Potdar. In the 44 -year -old acting career, Achyut Potdar has acted in more than 125 Hindi and Marathi films, 95 TV shows, 26 plays and 45 Aids.
Retired from the post of Captain of Indian Army
Born on 22 August 1934 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Achyut Pandit became a professor in Rewa after completing his college studies. He then joined the Indian Army and retired from the post of Captain in 1967. After retirement, he worked as an executive job in Indian Oil for 25 years and retired in 1992.
While working in Indian Oil, Achyut started participating in plays. Due to excellent acting, he started getting work in TV shows and then Hindi films. Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s almost every film was considered to be Achyut.
