TV actor Ashish Kapoor has got bail in the rape case from Tis Hazari Court in Delhi. This bail has been given to them with some conditions. In fact, Ashish Kapoor was arrested on charges of rape by a woman in Pune, Maharashtra. He was sent to judicial custody after questioning.

According to the Times of India, on September 10, Judge Bhupinder Singh granted bail to Ashish Kapoor. The court ordered that Ashish Kapoor should deposit a bail amount of Rs 1 lakh. The court further said that the actor’s past was found clean on the basis of all facts, CCTV footage, documents and other aspects. Based on this, the court admitted that the presence of Ashish is not necessary for further investigation, so he is granted bail.

The allegations against the actor are false and are levied only to recover money. He also informed that this year the complainant had lodged a case against his landlord earlier.

According to the police, Ashish Kapoor’s acquaintance with the woman was known through Instagram. Both became friends and then the party was planned, including the victim. On August 11, the victim lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police, alleging that Ashish Kapoor, her friends and two unidentified men raped her together. At the same time, a woman (friend’s wife) also assaulted her.
However, the woman later changed her statement and said that only Ashish Kapoor raped her. The woman also alleged that the incident was videographed, but the police have not found any such video yet. Officials said that earlier the case was registered in gang rape, but now it will be converted only on rape charges.
At the same time, on August 21, Ashish Kapoor’s friend and his wife applied for anticipatory bail, which was approved by the court. The victim was also present during the hearing, but she did not name the friend in her arguments.
Police say CCTV footage and statement of eyewitnesses show that Ashish Kapoor and the woman went to the washroom together during the party. When they did not leave for a long time, Kapoor’s friends and other guests started knocking on the door. While Ashish Kapoor’s friend’s wife made a PCR call.
