In the film ‘Bahn Hogi Teri’ (2017), a case related to the allegation of hurting religious sentiments will be heard again in Jalandhar court today (30 July). The case is registered against actor Rajkumar Rao, director and producer of the film.

On Monday, Rajkumar Rao surrendered in court. He reached the court at around 4 pm, where Judge Shrjan Shukla granted him bail. He had already got anticipatory bail, but a non-bailable warrant was issued when he did not appear in the last hearing, due to which he had to surrender in the court.
In today’s hearing, there is a possibility of important debate about the further action of the case. The complainant side has said that it is a serious matter related to religious faith and continued the legal battle. There is no official response from Rajkumar Rao so far.

Like Raj Kumar Rao’s lawyer told
Senior lawyer Darshan Singh Dayal, who is advocating for Raj Kumar Rao, said- A complaint was lodged against his client by a person named Ishant Sharma. In which he said that Raj Kumar Rao has insulted the nature of Lord Shiva in the film Sister Hoga Teri. Advocate Darshan Singh Dayal further said- It was shown in the scene that Shiva is wearing a sleeper in the feet.
Lawyer said- summons was going on wrong address
The lawyer further said- According to recognition, it hurt the emotions of Hindu leaders. Due to which he filed a complaint in the year 2017. On the basis of which a case was registered. Religious sentiments were registered in the case. The summons being sent to Raj Kumar Rao in the case was going to his wrong address. Because according to the case registered on him, his address was written from Gurgaon. But he lived in Andher, Mumbai.

Dayal said- Arrest warrant released on not getting the reply to summons
Advocate Dayal further said- due to which he could not know about the summons coming. Police arrested Panna Lal and another person from Mumbai in the case. Which was later regularly rushed. But if Raj Kumar Rao did not know about the complexes coming, the court had issued an arrest warrant.
Darshan Singh Dayal further said- but on Monday, he was rushed. It was argued in the court that the summons were going to the wrong address, due to which Rao did not know. Darshan Singh Dayal further said- The next hearing will be held on 30 July. In the case, Shruti Haasan was given a clean chit by the court.

What is the matter?
This case was registered in the year 2017 at Police Division No. 5, Jalandhar. The complainant, who is said to be the local Shiv Sena leader and the producer of the film, alleged that Lord Shankar was improperly depicted in the film, hurting the religious sentiments of Hindu society. The complaint also said that a poster and scenes of the film were objectionable.
On this basis, the police had registered a case against the film’s director Nitin Kakkar, producer Amul Vikas Mohle, actress Shruti Haasan and actor Raj Kumar Rao under various sections including sections 295-A and 153-A. Shruti Haasan has already got bail from the court.

According to this FIR lodged in Jalandhar, the producer, director and actor of the film ‘Bahn Hoga Teri’ were accused of hurting the religious sentiments of Hindu society. According to the complaint, in the film, Lord Shiva was shown in a cartoon -like image, which found the followers of Hinduism derogatory.
The complainant Hindu leader Ishant Sharma alleged that the presentation not only disrespects Lord Shiva, but also an attempt to hurt religious sentiments by sharing it on social media. The FIR states that the film, including the film’s producer Amul Vikas Mohan, director Ajay Pannlal, and actor Rajkummar Rao, deliberately and maliciously hurt the sentiments of Hindus.
The complainant wrote that such an act not only makes Hindu society unhappy, but also increases the possibility of creating enmity on religious grounds in the society. Complainant Ishant Sharma had demanded the police that a case was registered against the accused. After which the police had registered a case under sections 295-A and 153-A of the IPC in the case.
