Bollywood actress Mrinal Thakur has clarified the comments made with Bipasha Basu in an old video and apologized.
On Thursday, Mrinal wrote in her Instagram story,
At the age of 19, I spoke many stupid talks. I did not understand how much my words have an impact and even the words said in joking can hurt someone, but it happened, and for this I am forgiveness for this. I never intended to do anyone’s body shaming. This was a light joke in an interview which became a little more. I understand how it felt on the people, and really wanted me to separate my words.
Mrinal further wrote,
Over time, I understood that beauty comes in every form, and now I really believe.
Actually, recently an old video of Mrinal Thakur went viral. The video was from when she was working in the TV show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’.
During an interview, when Mrinal’s co-star Arjit Taneja gave him a task of handstanding, in response, the actress said that do you want to marry a girl who is masculine, who has muscles.
As soon as Arjit said, I will marry a toned girl, then Mrinal made fun of her and said, go marry Bipasha.

Further, the actor said that if she were in this show, I would have married her, then Mrinal said, I am a million times better than Bipasha, OK.
Criticism was done on social media after the video went viral
At the same time, after this video of Mrinal went viral recently, people started criticizing him. One user wrote in the comment, do not compare yourself with Bipasha, should be ashamed.
A user criticized Mrinal and wrote, see, it is a good thing to be confident, but not so much. At the same time, another user wrote, you are not even half of Bipasha.
