The new games include Sega’s Sonic Mania Plus, which is already available, Jonathan Blow’s platformer Braid, Anniversary Edition (featuring an exclusive level for members), Newfangled’s Paper Trail, and Akiisoft and Devolver Digital’s Katana Zero.

In addition to these games, Netflix Stories is expanding its collection of interactive fiction games inspired by its own shows, with the introduction of Netflix Stories: Virgin River.

Here’s a closer look at the new games:

Sonic Mania Plus (7 May)

Sonic Mania Plus invites players to run, jump, and collect gold rings as Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles in this fast-paced tribute created by and for fans of the iconic franchise. This remixed retro platformer is filled with references and Easter eggs from previous Sonic games, making it the ultimate celebration of the world’s fastest blue hedgehog. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a newcomer, you can look forward to a dose of ’90s nostalgia and epic new boss fights.

Braid, Anniversary Edition (14 May)

In Braid, Anniversary Edition, players will journey from a city house through a series of interconnected worlds where time behaves in unusual ways, all while searching for a mysterious princess. Along the way, players will delve into memories and regrets that continue to linger. This Anniversary Edition remaster of the award-winning platformer includes 40 new levels (including one exclusive to Netflix members), fully repainted high-resolution graphics, new sound effects, and extensive audio commentary.
