Veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan has said that he is preparing to retire from films. He said that he will retire from the film industry after finishing films like ‘Havan’ and ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
In a conversation with Onamnorama, Priyadarshan said, “I will retire after these films. Now I am feeling tired.”
‘Havan’ is inspired by his 2016 Malayalam film ‘Oppam’. However, it has made several changes in dialogues and screenplays. The film will feature Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. At the same time, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher are also playing important roles.
Mohanlal will give cameo appearance in ‘Havan’
Mohanlal, who plays the lead in ‘Oppam’, will also have a cameo in ‘Havan’. Priyadarshan said, “His character will be surprise for the audience.”
The shooting of the film continues in Kochi. The location will then be changed to Vagamon, Ooty and Mumbai. The special thing is that an important shooting location of Oppam was also the same.

Priyadarshan has directed films in many Indian languages.
After Havan, the director will make his 100th film, in which Mohanlal will play the lead. He says that the script of this project has not been finalized yet, but the shoot will start from next year.
On the long relationship with Akshay, Priyadarshan said, “All this is a matter of comfort. For me, Akshay is Mohanlal of Bollywood.”
Priyadarshan confirmed that he will direct ‘Hera Pheri 3’
The filmmaker confirmed that he would also direct Hera Ferry 3. In this, Akshay, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal will be seen together once again.
Regarding the film, Priyadarshan said, “I usually do not make a sequel to my films, but I will definitely make Hera Ferry 3, because the producers have been saying for a long time.”
