The controversy over Karishma Kapoor’s ex -husband and businessman Sanjay Kapoor’s property is increasing. On 12 September, the Delhi High Court ordered the removal of the name of Sanjay Kapoor’s sister Mandira Kapoor from the case. The court made it clear that Mandheera is not part of this legal action.
The order was given during the hearing of the petition of Priya Sachdev, the third wife of Sanjay Kapoor. Actually, Priya alleged that Mandira Kapoor was trying to do ‘backdoor entry’ in this case.
Priya Kapoor’s petition also said that the lawyers who were going to appear on behalf of Mandira Kapoor neither appeared in the court nor did they present any argument, while the bench asked all the lawyers to be present in the court.
According to Mint’s report, it is clear that Mandira Kapoor has not filed any application to make a party in the case on the Delhi High Court website. In such a situation, his name and the name of their lawyers seem to be a deliberate attempt to take unfair advantage in this legal process.
Judge Jyoti Singh, who was hearing this case, said that the presence of the lawyers of Mandira Kapoor was accidentally registered in the order of September 10, while he was not actually present in the court. The court improved the records and made it clear that Mandira Kapoor is not a party to the case related to the property of his brother Sanjay Kapoor.
Let me tell you, on September 10, the court ordered the present details of Sanjay Kapoor’s movable and immovable properties and sought answers from all sides within two weeks. The next hearing of the case has been fixed on 9 October.
